The colony as a game. You hold the directorship — Cantagrel, Considérant, Duthoya, Bureau, the receivers in turn — from Considérant’s arrival in June 1855 to the Civil War.
Every event and every decision is taken from the record and cited to the timeline; the first option at each decision is what was actually done. The colony runs on a daily clock: health, morale, standing, the company’s funds, and wages set against what Dallas paid.
